Zuma Female (spayed), 3 years old * Zuma is looking for an owner that loves a big dog. She'll fill your heart and your home with her boundless energy. And if you need a dog to let you know when someone's approaching your property, Zuma's the girl for you. She'd probably work out best as the only dog in your household. But who needs another dog when there's this much dog in one package! She'll make a great companion for the owner that wants a big, active, intelligent playmate.
Shazzam FOUND A GREAT HOME!!! Thanks to Metro Pulse and Critter Magazine! Male (neutered), 2 years old * Shazzam is a very sweet and personable dog, found as a stray in upper east TN. He's finally got a new home in Knoxville with a Pyr mix boy (just about the same size as he is) and a slightly smaller Shepherd mix girl. His new owners adore him, and the 3 dogs are a wonderfully happy pack! Shazzam is featured in a Purina Pro Plan commercial
Sweetheart FOUND A GREAT HOME!!! Thanks to Critter Magazine! Female (spayed), 1 year old * Sweetheart is an extremely active young girl, full of inquisitive energy and hard to contain. She'll need a very secure fence! She was reported as a stray by several concerned people before someone let her into his store and then got her into rescue. She was obviously somebody's pet, because she was well taken care of, and she's very comfortable (sometimes a little pushy) around people. She won't work out as a livestock guard dog -- she wants to chase more than protect.
