The Toy House
A home away from home – that’s what Meadowbrooke is all about. Our caring,
around-the-clock staff is dedicated to providing a healthy, safe and happy
environment for your best friend. Dogs love the social atmosphere. Our regular
customers tell us their dogs get excited as soon as they turn onto our street!

| A separate building, The Toy House (top pic above), is home to our smaller guests and
those that need convalescent (or simply quieter) surroundings. It has heated
floors. |
| Our kennel yards are surrounded by a safety perimeter fence. |
| We live here, and so does our caretaker. No other boarding situation
offers more in the way of security, comfort and personal attention. |
| We provide a premium quality dog food. Or if you prefer (if your pet is a picky eater, or
if you simply don’t want to transition foods during your dog's stay) you
can bring your own. We recommend you bring your dog's regular food for all
puppies and first-time boarders. |
| We provide toys and bedding, or you can bring your own. (We do our best to
return everything in the same condition in which it arrived, but we can't
guarantee that these items won't get lost or destroyed.) |
| We are glad to administer medications and treat minor ailments. All we need is for you
to bring your pet’s vaccination history when you arrive for boarding (please see our
Appointment form for details.) |

Options
| Hiking · We can take
your dog for a hike! We're extremely fortunate to be situated on over 15 acres of gently
rolling farmland. Picture your dog on a long Flexi lead (retractable nylon
leash) exercising alongside a member of our staff. Even the most active dogs are guaranteed
to get an aerobic workout as we visit the creek and let them explore our
numerous
fields. $4 per hike. |
| Playyard · All dogs
need to play! That's why Meadowbrooke was designed with outdoor run gates that open onto
one of our many large grassy, fenced-in yards. As a rule, we never let dogs other than
yours share a playyard (unless two owners have made prior arrangements). For a regular
playyard session, we open the run gate and let your dog roam freely in the fenced
playyard. He'll still have access to both the outdoor and indoor portions of his run.
$2 for 2 hours minimum! |
| Supervised Playyard ·
Some dogs need a little more than free time in the yard - they need someone to enjoy it
with. Someone to throw a ball or a Frisbee or their favorite squeak toy. When you opt for
"SuperPlayyard", your dog will thank you! $5 for half-hour play
session. |
| Cuddling · What about
the guest that loves a little extra human warmth and companionship? We bring them into the
office or take them to our training room and treat them to a special cuddle-and-kiss time.
